Hey guys
Since I started a few years ago as an editorial photographer, tons of images are in my archive on RAID storage systems.
I got a lot of messages from magazines to reuse my images and it's always a pain to deliver those images fast, because they are stored on RAID drives connected to my MacPro. When I'm on the road, I can't access those files quickly.
Now I'm looking for a new web-based solution.
A digital asset management system which is hosted or self-hosted on a webserver, where I can upload my jpegs and tiff files and can sort them. It needs a good metadata system so I can search for keywords, places etc.
When a magazine now calls, I can search my database and send them directly a link of the images without uploading or downloading.
I'm searching now for a few hours, but what I found, has not the featureset I'm looking for or others cost like $800 per month which is way too much for me.
Do you guys have any good suggestions for that or a complete different workflow for my problem?
Thanks in advance
