Desert Symphony
« on: February 04, 2017, 12:07:46 pm »

The sun fades and the soft light emerges. Time to leave the high places but not before the event, shadows on the land and the remaining light in the sky perform one last time for me, a musical treat for the eyes and the silhouette of the conductor emerges to hit the high notes before the sounds of silence. Symphony in the desert

Have you ever read The Phantom Tollbooth? Very funny. There's a chapter in which sunrise and sunset are played by an orchestra, under a conductor.

Not sure if it is the light, the processing, or both? But this particular image does not "speak" to me the way your others did. Dark foreground with "muddy" colours, yellowish sky...

I think it's a challenging photo.

Dark foreground and very bright background.

I also felt the same but after more time looking at this photo, whispers come to my hears…

+1 This image is growing on me.

It feels to me like it's tilted very slightly to the right.

Thanks for the comments! This was not such a cooperative image (when are they?) It could be slightly tilted to the right (like the country ;) I'm pretty horrible at being sure.
