Sigh, Still no support for pixel shift support for the K1, any chance that might happen sometime in 2017?

Finally..  This also fixes it for Canon G7X files that have been converted to DNG.

Ben, you have to give us a bit more to go on than that?

David, I too see a severe problem with speed and for some reason it seems to be impacted by Nikon D500 files - I have not seen it do this with files from my other cameras (IQ3100, a7R mk II, D7200, a6300) but much of my recent photography has been birds using the D500 so I may just not have run across it yet on those cameras.  When building previews or when doing a batch rename on a folder full of D500 files, the program inexplicably just stops, sometimes for a few minutes, and then resumes normally.  During that time, C1 Pro's use of the CPU is 100% (this is on the Windows version) and the computer can not be used to do anything else - it looks like a lock-up but isn't.  On two occasions during a batch rename, the program after stopping for a minute, just spontaneously aborted.

I love C1P, but the latest version still chokes on large catalogs with images >25k. LR-CC handled my 150k+ image library without issues. I had to split my catalog into 3 smaller catalogs in order for C1P to function.

Cheers.

I am too a bit surprised as to the "speed" of C1 10.x is on a MacPro (6 core 3.5, 64 GB ram 2 3GB video AMD firepro cards).

I am seeing slow zoom speeds from normal to 100%, as long as 10 seconds, 3 to 6 seconds to switch between images in a session.  Also some strange issues when I have over 5 to 6 adjustment layers.

This surprised me as I expected the C1 on Mac to be superior to how C1 works on windows.  Overall, I find that the Mac handles LR much better than windows, but Windows seems to give more speed to C1 (Nvidia card).

I am using all external drives on the MacPro since you can only have 1 internal drive in the machine. All are thunderbolt attached Lacie 4TB not configured as raid or WD USB 3 or 4TB drives.

I run in session mode only for C1.

Hey Paul,

Something is indeed up.  No way it should be that slow on your machine.

I would create a new user account on the Mac (as a test), load up a couple of images in Capture One on that new account and see if the behaviour is the same.

Also make a support ticket.

David.

Thanks for the support suggestion. I will definitely try that and open a support ticket.

I purchased the option Capture One film styles with C1P 8. They work just fine in v 9 and now v10.

For Fuji-X shooters missing the Fuji film simulations in LR-CC, I highly recommend trying out the C1P film styles. Through some minor experimentation, I found that using the Kodachrome 25 film style and reducing saturation to -30 yields results very similar to the Fuji Classic Chrome film simulation.
