I recently purchased I1 Photo Pro 2 (with I1 Profiler ver 1.6.7) on an iMac using Sierra (ver 10.12.2) and I have had no compatibility problems while making ICC profiles for three different papers. On the fourth paper that I profiled, the I1 Profiler crashed every time I tried to print a patch target, .. so, I did a workaround by saving the patch target as a tiff file and printing it through photoshop and the Canon Print Studio Pro plug-in(with no color management).. which worked with no problems... I have not profiled a fifth paper so I don't know that the problem persists..
