Etched by Snow
« on: January 13, 2017, 01:43:38 pm »

Even after 16 winters as an aging immigrant from Suffolk in England I still have mixed feelings about that season in Ontario, Canada. The negatives are prompted by issues of convenience and comfort but the delights of pure austere elegantly delineated snow-etched landscapes do somewhat counterbalance things.

Her are four recent attempts to capture that for your C+C please.

Good stuff, I'd say, particularly the second.

I like them all, but yes, number two is particularly good

All good!

I think the reason for the consensus vote on #2 may be due to the fact that this image has interest and detail in the foreground, middle ground and background.
