Being on dial up, I cannot see the entire video it takes ages & it never completes, getting fed up with multiple tries.
I am wondering if these videos can be downloaded to the hard drive so one can view later. Anyone having a clue if thats possible or may be a direct link to the flash file.

I guess you're talking about the video clip of Lightroom tutorial ([a href=\"http://www.luminous-landscape.com/video_journal/vj14-light-tut.shtml]here)? If so, then I guess you need QuickTime Pro to be able to save the file or dig into the sources of that page. The video clip is about 4.6MB and its address is: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/video_jo.../LtRmTut_QT.mov

Why don't you order the full [a href=\"http://www.luminous-landscape.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=10]Lightroom tutorial DVD, it might end up cheaper?

The video clips on Adobe.com are much longer/larger than the one on the LL website... I wouldn't try with a dial-up.

You can download the videos through the LR Podcast:

http://rss.adobe.com/www/special/light_room.rss

There are some great audio discussions in there with many of the engineers behind LR too.

I have a fast cable connection, but the Adobe server may be overloaded. At times, the Quicktime video halts until the server can respond, and viewing is not satisfactory. It would help if someone coule supply the URL of the tutorials for downloading to one's own computer for later viewing. The above URL does not work for me. HTML code displays when I click on that link.

That's an RSS feed. You need a news reader (such as FeedDeamon or NetNewsWire) to use it. iTunes works with it too, just select "Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast... " and paste that url into it.
