For Sale
« on: January 08, 2017, 08:01:46 am »

I had insomnia so I went out wandering around Todmorden in the early hours of Friday morning with the intention of taking some moody architectural photos as the sun was rising. Of course the sun never did actually rise while I was out so I ended up photographing the weird crap that was on display in shop windows. I'm feeling the beginnings of a project - I need something to keep me out of trouble in 2017.

I thought that I'd process the attached image in BW but haven't managed to get a conversion I like.

Comments appreciated.

It's quite arresting, and I think the color adds a lot here.
I don't think B&W would work quite as well.
