Hi Michael,
55 mm for both, calculate as sqrt(22^2 + 33^2).
Adapting foreign lenses to the X1D may be tricky.
Best regards
Erik
I am not thinking of the X1D, but the GFX. I wanted to make sure they were similar. The GFX should take lenses with an adapter, at least if their image circles are large enough. And since I often shoot macro, I may be able to get away with lenses that have smaller image circles. ANd I have LF lenses, etc. that will work, and they are in Nikon F-Mount.
I am just thinking out loud. The more I consider the GFX, the more I am perhaps interested. I want to make sure it has an Electronic Front Curtain, but I am sure it will. I like the maneuverable screen on the back, and that it can be set perpendicular, so you can look straight down on it. I like that its rear screen is supposedly decent, probably better than the X1D. And the price for the system and additional lenses is more reasonable, etc.
I may look at both systems, but I really have no idea when the X1D will debut, but the GFX is apt to be on schedule. I sometimes wonder whether Hasselblad just put their foot in the door to block the GFX, knowing that they would have to scramble.
I don't like the scramble, either. The fact that DJI may now have controlling interest in Hasselblad is probably a good thing, but not sure how that will immediately help the release of the X1D.
I'm just hedging my bets, of course.
