Theory behind sharpening

Hello,

I seem to recall a reference to a book with a title something like "The Art of Photography, 9th edition", which covered the technical aspects of sharpening and accutance.

I can't seem to find the reference.

Could someone give me the reference, or another recommendation?

Not yet released, but Bruce Fraser's new book, Real World Sharpening with Adobe Photoshop CS2, may be what you are looking for.
