After a lot of installing and uninstalling I found that my Z3100 works perfectly with Windows 10.
So those of you who had their PC update itself to Os 10 don't freak out.
The trick is to NOT use the HP Windows 10 driver on their website ( it didn't work for me, might work for you ) .
I uninstalled the Win 10 driver and installed the Windows 8 driver for my Win 10 64 bit pc and it works.
I had to uninstall the Utility and reinstall it but when I did that the Custom Media menu came back and worked normally and I was able to create and calibrate the Canson and other custom media.
Actual OS - Win 10
Driver - Z3100 Windows 8 64 bit
My HP Utility is - 1.17.0.3
Firmware - TR-12 7.0.0.3-7
