Canon 5D mark IV touch screen AF in stills Live View
« on: December 31, 2016, 11:09:19 am »

My 5DIV will AF by touching the screen in Live View movie mode, but not in Live View stills mode. Do I have to make a setting or is this just the way it is?

Thanks,
John

This video around the 1:34 mark shows him autofocusing in stills mode by using the touchscreen so it must be a setting:

The video is in I think Japanese but you will still see him doing what you are trying to do.

Thanks all. I'll take a look and see if I can figure it out.
