Precision Digital Negatives
« on: December 31, 2016, 10:32:08 am »

Is anyone using Mark Nelson's system on a modern Mac OS? He has old OS environments listed on his site. I am running El Capitan on all my Macs now and Windows 10 on my PC.

Am I going to have to set up a special mac to do this?

John,

Mark has a Yahoo user group where you can ask those questions directly to Mark. I do know a good friend of mine here in Atlanta is using Mark's CC III successfully on her MAC with the latest OS.

P.S. I'm the guy who came over and picked up the Scitex way back when.

Hey Don,

Small world. Thanks a lot of the info on his user group. That should answer most of my questions.

I just received an email from Mark. He said I should have no problem on El Capitan, but the new one Sierra has some color management issues generally.

Mark also said his method will work will with the Piezography ink, so I have a lot of things to try in February. I'll get started in Jan with the HP stuff and report back what I learn.
