Winter comes to the high desert
« on: December 29, 2016, 01:23:19 pm »

Unfortunately I have had very little time to be out shooting as of late.  Here are several from a cold but beautiful afternoon.
Happy New Year All.

Nice vistas all.

If I had a small nit it would be with #2 that seems to have a bit of an empty and featureless foreground.

I like the motion in #1, and the power poles give scale.

For me, #1, the sky colour is wonderful.

Thanks to all of you for your comments!  I enjoy shooting in winter light even though I seem to be getting less tolerant of the cold.  -20F seems colder than it used to.  :)
