I also enjoy these northern forests at night.
Feedback welcome.

Time for Hygge around a crackling fire with friends and mulled wine...enjoying your "almost" light on the site. The last weeks with so much time below zero and such a brief time with sun in view makes me appreciate yours all the more. I love my time outdoors, (the right clothes and my arctic sub zero boots keep me happy), especially since it seems so cozy when returning.
Just noticed a few days ago that Josh-H who used to visit Lula has found the same boots keep his feet happy. As someone here said awhile ago, maybe Peter Fiore, there's no bad weather, just unsuitable clothes... I wouldn't miss this gorgeous winter light for the world. Went to pick up scallops early this evening, the boats have been kept off the water by the frigid gales, but went out this morning...had to pull off and inhale the last light in the skies. Astoundingly beautiful, and probably not believed if CGI'd. Anyway, thanks for being out there, can feel the air on my face.

These are very beautiful, Scott.

Both excellent. I love how in #2 the stars in the sky are echoed in the glitter-like reflections from the snow on the ground.

Thanks, Dave. The diamonds lost some of their sharpness in this jpeg, and look nicer on the original.

Patricia, I am blessed with an abundance of hygge, which makes a strong contrast to the time spent outdoors. Glad to read that you are getting the most out of winter. A camera helps with the motivation.

Rajan, Eric, Paulo: thanks!
