For sale is a Scitex Smart 342L flatbed scanner with professional scan quality.Two years ago it was completely serviced and since then there were only about 200 scans. Included in the offer is the workstation for it, a Powermac 9600/350 MHz with keyboard, USB mouse and another SCSI system HDD as a spare part and all the original equipment including spare bulbs. System is Mac OS 9.2.2. Over FTP you can connect newer computers. All is configured, you only have to start scanning. Non smoking home.
The scanner offers automatic mask recognition for transparencies and reflectives, whatever they are positives, negatives in cmyk or rgb, greyscale or line art. Also moire elimination for printed material is possible. You can also do batch scanning. The machine allows a parallel workflow where you interactively configure the preview scans and the scanner scans already configured previews. Quickly scan times: 5 min. for a 35 mm film at a wanted size of 40 cm. The available transparency masks are from 35 mm to 260 x 434 mm and for reflectives up to 300 x 434 mm.
