Hi Mike,

AFAIK, as a plugin, Macphun plugins need a host program for that plugin. Capture One can then call that host program. Capture One does not support (Photoshop or Lightroom) plugins directly.

Cheers,
Bart

Thanks Bart.

The Macphun applications also run standalone. I can export to them but I'm struggling to get them back easily. I can re-import them buy it would be nice if C1 supported them as plugins.

Mike, did you use the File>Edit in ... menu option?

Yeah. That was the other method I tried. The Macphun application opens but there's no way that I've found to return to C1 unless I save the image and import it again as a TIFF. It's perfectly useable like this but it would be nice to be able to reach the app as a plugin.

Many thanks for your suggestions.

Yes, once outside the Raw converter the image can only be processed as a demosaiced/rendered file, e.g. a TIFF. Capture One does not have a plugin architecture that allows alterations of the Raw data, but then most other programs don't work that way either.
