Capture Pilot Live View?
« on: December 07, 2016, 03:06:45 pm »

Capture Pilot is a free P1 app for connecting C1 with a tablet. I've paid for the "Camera Control" add-on and I can remotely set some parameters of my camera from the tablet but I don't see an option to engage live view. Does live view in the Pilot app work with Canon cameras (live view does work directly in C1 for me)? If not, I feel cheated. Being able to press the shutter remotely without seeing what that camera sees it pretty useless.

Capture Pilot Live View only works for Phase One IQ2 and IQ3 backs.

Since live view already works in C1 it would be nice to see it in the Pilot too, I don't see any technical reasons preventing it. Canon's app can do it over wifi and it works fairly well.
