Uyuni and Machu Picchu in January
« on: December 01, 2016, 11:01:09 am »

I've got a few weeks off in January and was thinking of doing some shooting in Peru and Bolivia. Then I realised it was rainy season...

Has anyone been there at that time of the year? What is it like in terms of cloud cover and photographic conditions? I've heard people say it's fine, but they're speaking from a tourist rather than photographic point of view - grey, overcast days aren't much good for landscape photography. Or would I be better off finding somewhere else to go in January and leaving Peru/Bolivia until April or May?
