Kozo Profiiles
« on: November 26, 2016, 05:00:13 pm »

Could someone advise on how or where I could get a profile for Epson's Kozo paper that works with my Epson 9880 in the USA?  Some month ago I had downloaded and installed such a profile from Epson's European site, but now when I went to use it, I found that it does not appear on my drop down list of profiles.  Or, if that profile cannot be obtained, can anyone suggest a more common profile that works more or less like Epson's Kozo.  Thanks.

and it may be completely off track but I built a Piezography curve using Canson Rag Photographique as the starting point. It was very close.

You are not way off track.

I just made a very nice print on the Epson Kozo.  I didn't have time to make an icc with my software for this one print sample, so I tried the Awagami profile and it was ok, but using the Canson Rag Photographique standard rgb profile was quite good. I had to lighten the file but the color balance and contras were really good. My print was used in a lightbox.

Here's a link to Gary Wornell's site - the person that helped develop this paper. He has profiles for download on the site: http://www.garywornell.com/kozo/printer-profiles/
