Wacom question
« on: November 24, 2016, 08:36:48 pm »

Tried to find the answer to this question on the Wacom site without success.

When using the Cintiq series of tablet, does it take the place of the regular monitor, or is it possible to use in conjunction with a monitor (similar to using two monitors, I guess). If the answer to that is "in conjunction with", does the regular monitor show what is being done on the Cintiq, like drawing a line, in real time and does a mouse continue to work on the monitor?

Have used an Intuous (in fact probably could not use a mouse now, I'm so used to it) for years, but a buddy asked me about the Cintiq and, although I could answer most of his general questions, for the life of me, I couldn't answer these.
