Using a Drobo 5D between mac and PC
« on: November 11, 2016, 07:01:59 am »

Has anyone successfully installed a Drobo 5D, on a MAC so it's formatted HFS + then used a third party software to use the MAC formatted Drobo on a PC?

I have successfully used MacDrive to read external Hard drives formatted in HFS+, but have not tried this on a drobo yet.

Thanks

Well actually connected mine to a Mac mini server then you can connect all machines to it at the same time. The other bonus is that you get Time Machine to back it up each night.
