Fuji Rumors reports the firmware update was pulled when another bug was found. No idea how valid that assertion is but it's happened in the past.

The update is now officially scheduled for Nov 8 release.  That's about a month since a bunch of other updates, so maybe it won't be the only one.

Tethered shooting plugin support seems to be the primary feature.
Requires their V1.3 plugin which the V1.2 cost $29.00 US. I don't do any tethered shooting, I suppose for folks that need it it isn't a big cost.
Will be interesting to see the bug fix list.

The update is now postponed to Nov 29.

I tried explaining my problems (sparkles just after turnon) to the contact site at fuji USA. and I got back an automatic reply saying that I would be contacted.  This has not happened.  I haven't found any email address to use to contact a human.  Anyone have a contact at Fujifilm that I could use to see if my problem is under consideration for a firmware fix?

Thanks.  I called the number and spoke to a human.  They are looking at some examples.  It's not something they have seen before.
