River Derwent

Taken in Borrowdale standing in the River Derwent. Most of the trees are still green but a few have gone completely into full Autumn hue.

Oh boy, that's pretty, and truly conveys a sense of autumn and the change of seasons.

That's a lovely scene, Ken, but I do hope you mean hue. It would be a shame to chop any of them down  ;)

Oops Jeremy. I have often wanted to use a chain-saw but this is not one of them. However waders would have been an advantage here as the river was slightly deeper than my wellingtons were high.

Gorgeous. I'd be inclined to reduce the hot reflection downstream, but really this is a lovely photograph as is.

This is autumn at it's best and you have captured it nicely.

Nice. Somehow, I feel there is an interesting abstract/reflection shot only in this scene.
