Interesting software - I've written up some thoughts on it at
http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/reviews/plugins/luminar.htmlI should note that I'm looking at it from the POV of a long time Photoshop user where I'm calling it as a plugin.
Personally, I find many aspects of Lightroom irksome to use (OK almost all of it except RAW processing) but I can see how it might fit in as plugin for editing - I know it has its fans ;-)
At the moment, the RAW support is relatively basic, so I'd use a different mechanism for that.
I'd mention that I've had pre-release versions to try for a while, but one thing I'd note is how responsive the developers are to fixing things - I found a whole series of issues during testing and all are promptly sorted in the 1.0 release. In the review above, I've included the 'feature comparison list' from Macphun (from their press release), which shows the direction the next release should be pointing.
I do hope they don't try and
force too much LR style of workflow on users ;-) YMMV!
