want that film look?
« on: July 03, 2006, 01:27:39 pm »

I finished my project, and going into post production.... need to sell my rig....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=270004266986

HC-1 ( all original contents of box.. unfilled out warranty card )
4 type 50 batts
LANC remote
letus enhanced flip with canon 50mm f1.4 lens ( plus extension tube )
compendium matt box
cavision carbon fiber rod support
aluminum case

all in like new condition

I've been very happy with the results from this rig!

all you need is a tripod and a tape to start shooting with that filmic look... I'd recommend the nattress FCP plugin as well! ( thanks graeme! )

Pleasure! Looks like a mean rig - be keen to see  the results!

Hi, just wondering how much you got for it, and what that big contraption on the front does. Thanks.

yep it sold.... for less than I was hoping for, but oh well.

here's a snip ( 30mb ) in low def for the web... from the setup...

I've moved up to sony z1u's for the next project.... I'm a manual still shooter by habit and trade  ( hassy's ) and don't care for auto focus of exposure... the z1 fits the bill there.... and greames film look plug-ins make the final footage very sweet.
