Frosty Dawn
« on: October 15, 2016, 03:24:21 pm »

Beautiful mornings as autumn overtakes summer. Unbelievably it's up to 20°C (68°F) today - a rare event for southern Ontario in mid-October.

Enjoy! C&C welcome.

Sony RX10iii 24mm (equiv) ƒ8 @ 1/25, ISO 100, EV–1⅓, Polarizing filter

(Yes, ƒ8 on a 1" sensor and no loss of detail due to diffraction.)

Very pleasing. And a good example of the striking depth of field achievable with a 1" sensor at reasonable shutter speeds.

C&C welcome.

Love the contrast but the frost might be more obvious? Up the blue a tad in the foreground?

Nice contrast between the frost and the warmer trees.

Gorgeous capture! The frost chills me just looking at it. Our temps are jumping all over the place but today in northern Utah....soft rain.

Very nice presentation of the beauty of a rather ordinary (not pejorative) bit of the landscape.  Well done.
