Good evening, all. The wife and I returned recently from a 8 day trip to GSMNP. We were luckly to arrive just after a week of heavy rain and the mountain streams and waterfalls were exceptional. I would like to post several here over the next few days for comments. I owe thanks to Michael R. for his GSMNP Locations article on LL for the inspiration for our trip. This image is from along the Newfound Gap Road which is the main road thru the park. It seemed that just as you got the car up to speed yet another little stream or waterfall was just off the road. Took us all day to go 30 miles.
