The written language is not optimum for expressing quality.  It is much better designed for quantitative expression.

Say what?  Gag me with a spoon.  This is an epic fail.  More importantLY it is not a factoid, but totally bogus, man.  The written word is totally awesome for expressing emoticons in writing, like!
