Canon Drivers ! MAC OS Sierra !!

Does anyone have any information about updating drivers for Mac OS Sierra.

Line IPF 8400 and 6400?

I hope that Canon does not take forever to update this .... :-[

They said they would say more at the end of the month, but updating the OS a machine using an old printer is always a process to consider carefully - I've no intention of moving any of our Macs to 10.12 for many months.

That would be the case even if Canon hadn't posted all the warnings...

I only ever update one machine to a new version of OS X - and never anything I do paying work on!

EXACTLY!!!

Putting cutting-edge software on a production machine is just begging to get burned.

Drivers, Photoshop versions, LR versions, color management, etc etc etc.  All bad.

This caution I always have, I always have 3 clones OS, just in case you encounter a problem.

My clones, back in less than 10 mintutos.

Let's see if Canon meets the deadline until the end of September .... :P

Even though the pre-released, beta version of the Sierra operating system may have been available for months, we do not update our drivers until the operating system is officially released.  Our Engineers are diligently working on drivers for the Sierra operating system.  We do not know exactly when the updated drivers will be available.  I recommend that you periodically check our web site (click HERE) for the updated drivers for your iPF8400.   We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
