I have an Imacon Flextight 646 which has been run on a PC with Windows 7 Pro. I have now upgraded to Windows 10 - and the computer can no longer see the scanner.
When I hit the preview button in the FlexColor scanner software (v4.8.9) I get a scanner not found message.
I have tried all the tricks I can think of:
Changing the FireWire cable
Changing the FireWire card in the PC
Checking the drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers
Uninstalling and reinstalling the Flexcolor software
Also I have checked scanner itself by plugging it on to a PC normally running an Imacon 848 on The same Flexcolor software and an older version of Windows. I just plugged in the FireWire cable and was ready to go.... So the scanner itself is OK.
Are there anyone who have encountered and hopefully solved a similar problem?
