it's $300 so I have a hard time as to why Leica is tarnishing its brand value w/ it.

Especially when it is a rebranded Fuji Instax Mini 90, lens assembly is the same, just a different box. And the Fuji is under $200 most places....

Well, Fuji just got out a Michael Korrs edition, so... seems like easy money from riding this new wave of nostalgia instant print. Who knew that the instagram generation would also like the instax prints?

Paulo have you ever looked at the yearly Fujifilm reports? Their income from Instax is huge, more than the X-cameras. Very profitable for them. They are also coming out with a square format one later this year. I see a lot of people use the printer as well, to give out prints from the X-cameras right after they take them. There is also another company that is making a full functional TLR that uses the Fuji instax prints. Kind of interesting trend.

I had the Fuji version for awhile earlier this year. Ended up giving it to a friend's young daughter. It's fun to use, and she gets a kick out of watching the pics develop after the camera spits 'em out.

Trying to get a basic idea about the "IQ" of scanned Instax film, I came to the following website.
Probably more for the But-is-it-art-? section.
