Well this is a strange problem, all of a sudden the eraser tool won't work on adjustment layers in photoshop. It works as normal on non adjustment layers. Any ideas?[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=69164\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a]
The eraser tool only works on pixels. Adjustment layers by there very nature don't have pixels. If you want to "erase" the effect of the adjustment layer from an area of the image, paint with black onto the adjustment layer's layer mask.[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=69173\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a]
Thanks, that works, I'm sure I used to erase curve layers with the eraser, is that not possibe?[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=69178\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a]
Don't think so. You can use the eraser on the layer mask, but the layer itself has no pixels, so I can't imagine that the erases would do anything on a curves layer.[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=69179\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a]
give it a try, I'm sure I used to do it that way untill I couldn't!![a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=69180\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a]
Bruce is correct. You cannot erase an adjustment layer, I just tried it!You can erase a duplicate layer with adjuustments applied to it. Rich[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=69185\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a]
