I'm not posting this for critiquing per se but rather as a response of sorts to Rajan's Curious photo below in this section. I took it in northern Israel, in a small village (moshav) near the city of Nahariya, where I lived for awhile during my 18-month sojourn through the Middle East. This would've been early on, sometime during October 1983. All the guys in the photo are from Deutschland or Nederland, some doing their civil service (an accepted alternative to the required stint in the military) and others—like me—just wanting to experience more of the world. As an American who came of age during the 1970s I was mostly clueless about playing this version of football, but I did enjoy watching it.
I saw the photo as a pano kind of thing when I took it, though it wasn't 'til the advent of scanning years later that I was able to display it that way. Shot on Kodachrome 25 with a Canon AE-1 & 50/1.4 lens.
