sinar emotion 75 color input profile question
« on: September 09, 2016, 05:16:51 pm »

Hi all,

I do have a Sinar Emotion 75 LV which I shoot tethered into Sinar CaptureFlow Studio 1.4.1. I then usually import he DNG files into Lightroom for convenience of all the tools that are missing in Sinars own program.

Now all I would want from Sinar CaptureFlow Studio 1.4.1 besides the tethering is a good color profile embedded in the DNG file.
I use an xrite Color Checker passport and adjust the colours with the handy tool in Sinar CaptureFlow Studio 1.4.1. What I am wondering is, wether this color profile is automatically embedded in the DNG file, when I open it in Lightroom, or do I have to start from scratch?
One funny thing I have observed is, that when opening the DNG files, Lightroom opens them with its 2010 color processor instead of the recent 2012 profile.

Any advice on how to get the colours right is much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Oliver

Can anyone possibly answer this? I am having the same problem - and I have no eMotion profile in LR either, it just shows as embedded.
