Capture One Import function not seeing a subset of raw files within folder

I'm trying to get a set of Fuji RAW files to import into C1 for editing. Some of the RAFs are imported, but not my selects. C1 just does not seem to see these files in the browser view in the Import window, yet the actual file is present in the folder. Some of these have been edited previously in LR. How do I get C1 to see them so I can import them?
