Drive to Shi Shi Beach, WA
« on: August 30, 2016, 11:21:18 pm »

How's the road once you leave WA-113 at Neah Bay? Should I expect a dirt road (or maybe even mud) or is the road out to Shi Shi Beach paved?

The Shi Shi Beach road is foot traffic only, its a good 2-3 miles to the ridge and then a fairly steep hike down to the beach.
Haven't been out there lately but have trudged through mud way past ankle deep.
Once the Tsoo Yess road ends there is a parking lot.
Lot of rain here lately www.wta.org has hiking reports that are usually fairly current.
Have fun, its a beautiful place. Be safe, check the tides.

It was a bugger of a walk when I went there... the end of the trail was nice but not worth the trudge to get there.
