You woke up early for this shot.  Mark of a good landscape photographer is the work ethic to get up early and stay up late.  Good shot.  Welcome to the site.

(Slight green color cast in the upper left, but nothing that isn't fixable)

Pines are dying throughout the west due to infestation of mountain pine beetle. The combination of drought and hot summers has weakened the trees and the mild winters have not been cold enough to kill the beetles.

Nice shot!

We have those beetles here too. Sad to see big stands of old growth die off so suddenly!

Any way to bring down highlights in the sky?  Thanks to photography, I still stop at Inspiration Point and marvel at the landscape.  Nice job documenting the ponderosa pines that have been ravaged by bark beetles due to the California drought.

Nice landscape, but for my taste it looks too much like "hdr-like".
