Glade Creek Grist Mill, Babcock SP WV.

I would like to visit the Glade Creek Grist Mill this fall. It's a 6-7 hour drive for me so I want to make the visit count. What is the best time of day to visit? Is it a morning or afternoon location?

Any advice will be appreciated.

I shot there in the fall a few years ago. My recollection is that both morning and evening work well there, though my favorite shot was from the evening. For best color, timing is critical. IIRC I was there the 2nd weekend in October and that was probably past prime - but you might want to search that for more recent years. Babcock State Park has some fairly inexpensive rental cabins if you want to overnight there and do both morning and evening - that is what I did.
