I have recently bought the P10000, 44" model. I print mainly on canvas and in color. I have printed on a P9000 also and can't really tell much of a difference between the 2 printers, but I like the new technology on the P10000. The 700ml cartridges are much cheaper than the P9000. The P10000 will use all the ink in the cartridge before telling you to replace. My previous 9900 would leave 40ml of ink in the cartridge. I get the 700ml cartridges for $186 each. The P10000-P20000 are very fast. Two to three times as fast as the 9900 or P9000. That was important for me. You can check the nozzles without printing on paper. There are other benefits. I will do a review in the next few weeks.

Thanks a lot. I have a fine art printing studio. At the moment I have a 11880 and like to upgrade. I am wonder if p9000 aditional green and orang color makes  better gamut and larger color space? And also if your 10000 extra dark-gray give you better b&w or better gray tonallity. specially on matt paper. The fact that 10000 or 20000 are much faster cant be denied and is very important for me too but just thought if it comes as compromise of color quality in fine art invironment. Cant wait till reading your full review... Regads

From what I've read the additional green and orange in the P9000 produces an additional 14% gamut over the P8000. However, on matte canvas it won't be noticeable. You will see it on gloss paper, but then again you will have to look closely. I don't print B/W so I can't help you there. Before I sold my 9900 I printed a canvas and then compared it to the new P10000 and there was not that much difference. The blacks on the P10000 are more robust and I had to make changes in Photoshop to lighten the image to bring more detail out in the shadows. When I get the full feel of the printer, I will do a write up here. So far, I am very happy with the purchase. It is fast, fast fast. Yes, it cost $2000 more than the P9000 $3,000 more than the P8000, but for me it is worth it. I will keep this printer for 7 years and it will pay for itself many, many times over.

And thanks to Tony and Wayne at Tastar Data here in Pittsburgh for bringing the new printer into my storefront, unboxing it, and setting it up for me and giving me a great price. On the same day I sold my 9900 and it was a seamless transition.
