Ink Press Rag stability ratings and price seem amazing.....
« on: August 03, 2016, 08:07:22 pm »

Has anyone used the Inkpress Rag media for any period of time that can comment on it, especially in comparison to Canson Rag Photographique and Hahnemuhle Photorag?

I just bumped into the longevity results on the Wilhelm site and was shocked. They are blowing everything away, from his point of view. Looks like we might have another paper out there with pigment whiteners  and/or something else very unusual ! He's got a rating of >300 years for the Cool Tone Rag with the OLD Epson K3 inks, and better for Canon and HP. I"m just surprised people aren't talking more about this stuff.

The price is $100.00 less a roll than 44" Legacy Matte ( Canson Photographique ). I'm wondering what the gamut is like and how it handles throwing a lot of black ink at it, and how durable it is.
