Azores - 4
« on: August 01, 2016, 04:17:06 am »

Final one from this series. I climbed the Pico mountain on the 19th, spend the night at the top, and came down the following day (my 50th birthday, 20th July). As luck would have it, it was full moon. A fantastic experience.

1. The shadow of the volcano pointing to the setting moon, on the morning of the 20th.

2. Rim of the crater, and shadow.

3. Faial island, 8 km away.

4. Watching the sunrise.

Regards.

Can a photo be poetic? The first one has my vote.
