Mamiya C mount - Mamiya AF mount
« on: July 31, 2016, 12:44:48 am »

Ladies and Gentlemen...

I have purchased a Photodiox adapter for Mamiya 645 to Canon EOS in order to use some of my Mamiya 645 lenses on the Canon 1Dx.

The Adapter will allow any of my C mount Mamiya lenses to be attached, but when I try to mount the 105-210 or the SK 80/2.8 LS, the adapter will not allow them to mount.

I've researched all over the place and have failed to find if there is a difference between the C and the AF mounts aside from the obvious added contacts, but the mechanical elements all look the same.  Is there any one here who can enlighten me since contacts with Photodiox have yielded no success?

This is a trivial matter but one that has bugged me for months and even careful visual comparisons have failed to reveal the differences.

thanks for your help,

David
