ERROR: Your username is incorrect

I can post this because I checked "Remember Me" for the first time so it's stored in a cookie in my home computer.
But I'd love to log in from another computer. What's worse, if I log out accidentally, I might not be able to log in back again!

This is a part of my activation e-mail:

You are now registered with an account at Luminous Landscape Forum, biker!
Your account's username is biker and its password is ********* (which can be changed later.)
Before you can login, you first need to activate your account. To do so, please follow this link:

It's a permanent problem (tried for the first time a few months ago). Tried both username and associated e-mail address - the one where I got the activation e-mail and receive notifications.
The password is the one from my activation e-mail. Never changed it.
So what's wrong?
I don't like the idea of resetting my password (and - there's an issue with my username) because if this fails, I might not be able to log in again.

Sorry for posting here - is there a way to contact an admin that could help me? Thanks.

If you go to the sign on or home page you'll see a help button on the bottom right of the screen.  Send your request using this button and it will go to the right people.  The people that work on the site done look at these topics on a regular basis.  Your issue should be easy to fix.

UPDATE: The helpdesk was very fast and now I can log in again.
