New Sony Planar T* FE 50 f1.4 ZA lens

Seems like another high quality lens for A7 system, initial impressions are starting to pop up:

If the previous FE 55 f1.8 ZA was considered by some almost like a mini-Otus, will this be even better? Anyway, a good complement for the f1.4 lens line, only missing a 24 or 28 mm lens now:)

As one who likes compactness and manual focus, it's of no interest.  I'm waiting for a modern Loxia 50mm f/2 that is in the 21mm's class.  That platform deserves more than an old double Gauss that has simply been modified slightly to account for the cover glass optical thickness.

(BTW, the old 50mm ZM on an a7r modified with the (thin - read more Leica M glass compatible) KolariVision astrophotography filter (Tech Pan spectral response) is about the best 50mm double Guass I've ever seen.)
