Reflective CMYK display ?

Most likely it will be a reflective color screen and then it has to be a CMYK subtractive color mixing screen. That color mixing method is possible with electro wetting displays. This makes me wonder whether that Kindle could function as a true CMYK softproof display. If the driver allows a direct CMYK image transfer to the display it should be possible. If for reasons of compatibility a hardware/firmware conversion of RGB images to CMYK is used it will be much harder to get real CMYK softproofing done.

Met vriendelijke groet, Ernst
