The shot was taken five minutes after astronomical midday (we've got daylight saving time here) at focal length 71.5mm (120mm eq.), f/4.8.
While Sony RX10iii takes an 11-year technological advance, the larger sensor of DSC-R1 could make the background/bokeh a bit different. Judge for yourself.
This veteran camera is a matter of my heart. If anyone wanted to trade
, I'd probably change it for the new RX10iii but it would be very hard for me.
