I must have hit some wrong button while in folder mode.  At first I thought it was normal when rating the first image in a sequence of focus stacking images that the images in that same sequence would also change.  But soon I realized it affected every single image in the entire session-700 images and it also gave them with a red flag.  Every time I try to change the rating of one image-all images in the session folder also change to this newly entered rating. Why?

I generally do not use flags. This means all my previous ratings have been lost.

Any help? TIA

By default rating and color tagging is applied to all selected images, or variants in Capture One talk.

If you only like to rate/tag the primary variant, either deselect the other images, or keep them selected but toggle off the switch "Edit All Selected Variants" in the Edit menu.
