Minneapolis
« on: July 01, 2016, 01:34:36 pm »

I just got back from a long overdue visit to Minneapolis. Since graduating from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 1981, the city has undergone tremendous change. One place that looks the same is Murray's, 'The Home of Butter Knife Steak.' As a student, I probably walked by Murray's a hundred times. I never went in. ... Well this time I did. It's a posh upscale restaurant. The food and the service are very good. I was surprised to find a few thin strips of beef jerky in my Bloody Mary.

Wow! Doesn't look a bit like Florida.
Did you try the Silver Butter Knife Steak?

I felt like Rip Van Winkle--everything changed except for Murray's. ... My steak was so tender; I cut it with a butter knife.
