I have four or five varieties of sundews (Drosera sp.) growing in my bog garden. Some are "typical" sundews that are often seen in sandy moist areas in the mid-Atlantic region. Others have very long (over six inch) leaves, while still others have round leaves, sort of like miniature frying pans. (I apologize, but I don't know the species names of any of my sundews. I hope to correct that soon; just haven't had the time.) Each variety does a great job at capturing all sorts of small insects and all of them make for interesting macrophotography subjects.
Here are three macro photos showing the leaf structure of these sundews. Please feel free to comment, etc.
