Who stocks ink for Canon 8400 in SF Bay area?

I just got rolling on printing a new project--Photo Magenta ink bar indicated it was low but no warning message. Then warning that ink was getting low. Then warning that ink was out. All during the course of one 24x36 print! What's up with that?

I managed to finish printing the first image (five prints) but now it won't go on without ink. BH can get it here next Tuesday, or Friday if I pay extra. Don't want to wait as I'm all set schedule-wise to go.

K&S and Samy's don't show anything on the web page. Will call tomorrow. Who else is there?

I called K&S in Palo Alto and, surprisingly they say they "aren't carrying the big Canon printers anymore." Thus no ink. I'm not sure if they just meant the older 8400/8300 inks or they really aren't carrying any LF Canon printers.

I thought about the place in Emeryville (as suggested) and others but Bay Area traffic is just too painful to endure.

I'm checking with my regular sources at Shades of Paper and B&H to see about getting ink here by Friday and just rearranging my schedule...(Shades of Paper just e-mailed as I write, will have it here Friday for a good price).

K&S stopped carrying the canon LF printers but does carry the pro-1000.  I was wondering if they had the inks at least for the canon lf printers, now I know (they do't). Oh well, I guess it's a good reminder to jump on the ink order at the first signs of it running low.

Thanks for sharing this!  Kudos to https://www.bayinkjet.com   I was out of ink this weekend and found the owner, Mark, there on site and drove up to Oakland to pick up some for my IPF8400!   Awesome!  I highly recommend Bay Ink Jet.  Good prices as well.  Paid $163 for a 330ml cartridge.
